Synopsis
This user meeting is the successor of the first NGSolve user meeting which successfully took place in Vienna in 2017. At the NGSolve user meeting 2018 in Göttingen, we again bring together advanced NGSolve users with different background, as well as newcomers who want to get a quickstart into NGSolve and NGS-Py. Experiences will be shared, new features are to be discussed and extensions to the software are presented.

Material for contributed Sessions
- NGSolve:
- software:
- install NGSolve in version 6.2.1806 ( follow instructions on http://ngsolve.org/downloads )
- we have two back-up options as a last resort (it's better to have a local installation!):
- 1. (without GUI): log in to https://c8.num.math.uni-goettingen.de using your wifi-login (username: "ngsu99" (lower case!) with 99 replaced by your wifi-number and the password your wifi-password)
- 2. (with GUI): back up live stick that have been prepared for the meeting
- interactive jupyter tutorials: [tar.gz] [zip]
- software:
- ngsxfem:
- software: from http://github.com/ngsxfem/ngsxfem (install through "pip3 install xfem")
- interactive jupyter tutorials from http://github.com/ngsxfem/ngsxfem-jupyter [tar.gz] [zip]
- FEM-BEM-coupling: interactive jupyter tutorials [tar.gz] [zip]
